Born 3 January 1955 in Krugersdorp, South Africa. Matriculated at Florida High School in 1972. Military training in 1973. Studied at Goudstad Teachers Training College 1974-1977. Specialized in Speech and Drama. Married to Eureke-2 children, Nadia aged 23 and DeVilliers aged 20.
QUALIFICATIONS:
~ T.H.T.D-Goudstad Teachers Training College.
~ Studied opera and repertoire at the Franco Ferraris Institute in Milan, Italy in 1986.
~ Studied singing at the Hochschule fur Musik in Munchen , Germany 1981 and 1982.
~ Professional Outfitter, Hunter, Field- and Tour guide. Registered with PHASA and THETA. Co-owner of Africa Wild Safaris.
OCCUPATION:
Professional singer, actor and voice artist, outfitter, hunter and tour guide. Co-owner of Africa Wild Safaris and The Commercial Voice Training Academy in Pretoria, South Africa.

Voice artist since 1981 on a freelance basis for S.A.B.C in various dramas, advertisements and documentary programmes.
As an opera singer on a permanent contract at the State Theatre in Pretoria, S.A from 1981-1996 as principle bass. Participate in 5-6 productions per year. (opera, operette and musicals) Repertoire of 137 operas, oratoria, operette and musicals from Wagner to Lloyd –Weber. Perform nationally and internationally. Has done nearly 700 performances of Phantom of the Opera (Lloyd-Weber) up to date. Freelance since 1997.
As a teacher he taught for 3years at Kroonrand Primary school and Maraisburg Primary school in Johannesburg, S.A. Subjects-Maths, Science and Geography.
